"Our commercial project was a custom build completed in the Summer of 2017 in down town Ruston, Louisiana. Our building had been many things over the years : the first “moving pictures” establishment in the area, a hardware store, restaurant, and even an indoor craft mall.

When we sent our project out for bid, we let contractors know that the project had to adhere to both Federal and State Historic Preservation Guidelines so that we qualified for available tax credits. What we were seeking to do had never been done in Ruston. We also wanted the space to be beautiful, featuring a progressive design, materials and finishes while still staying true to the historical uses of our building.

To say that we had lofty goals with our project would be an understatement. Despite all those demands, Moran Construction came through for us on all fronts. Professional, patient and eager to make our vision a reality - it was a pleasure to work with Chris and the entire Moran team from start to finish."
